Materials and Methods of Research Paper

Materials and Methods of Research PaperThe Materials and Methods section are the last part of your research paper. It takes an in-depth look at the data that was collected and how it was interpreted. This section is also known as the Data Analysis. As a researcher you should have a basic understanding of a different field of study, so that you can clearly understand the analysis in the Materials and Methods section. You should be able to explain what you are studying in a clear manner. Also, there should be proper support for all the conclusions made in the section.Always remember that the study section of a research paper is very crucial. The data is only as good as the interpretation done by the author. One can only believe the data that they present. A poor study section will lead to a poor result in your research paper. There are various reasons why one should make a research paper. One reason is to get recognition from his/her academic colleagues. Another reason is to be published in the top journals. Yet another reason is to help out his/her family financially. The main purpose of any research paper is to show that it has been researched properly. The reason for this is that you want the world to know what you have learned in your studies. For this reason, the materials and methods section of the research paper are very important. Here is a simple example of the Materials and Methods section of a research paper. Suppose you are studying the effects of rearing sheep on their wool quality. You may first need to collect all the data that is relevant to your study. You will then need to list down all the data that you have collected on a certain parameter. It may include data regarding the location of the sheep or the time of year they were raised. All the data that you have gathered may be in hard copy, the hard-cast, or digital form. In any case, you need to note the place and date of each observation that you have made. You should then compare the basic data tha t you have collected to other similar reports from other authors. You may use this comparison to show how your research matches with other similar research. All these records should be included in the Materials and Methods section of your research paper.
