Eveline

In the short story Eveline, written by pack Joyce shows that there is no easy way to get away of a bad situation. The story deals with a young young woman who go in love but feels obligated to put up by her fathers side. The excerpt at the end where Eveline decides non to go with her lover, bluff explains how many of us give up the person we call for most to do what needs to be done.         He stimulate beyond the barrier and called to her to follow. He was shouted at to go on but he still called to her. She set her ashen face to him, passive, like a helpless animal. Her eyes gave him no sign of love or farewell or recognition. At the very end of the story Eveline is standing on the delude as her lover and the ship does on without her because she feels that she has to stay and ruin care of her father. The reality in this story is that Eveline is really splurge between two people and places. One place is her home, which is non the best of circumstances because she works at a entrepot that she does not like and she lives to contribute care of her father.
